Important: The MSW and MSE courses have been updated with new activities, so the video demos may not match. We will go over the activities in class.


Monday

8am - 8.30am: grace period; read daily post and prepare for day 8.30am: attendance and announcements meeting - all students

Use your daily schedule to progress through the material. If you are taking a Pearson course (BCA, MSE, MSP, and MSW), begin with the Pearson success starter kit.


9am: daily study groups:

9.15am: KBD: welcome & account set-up
9.45am: MSW [with BCA]: chapter 1

please watch the welcome to Pearson video beforehand & follow with Intro to Office

10.15am: MSE: chapter 1 [BCA & ITC welcome to join]

11am - noon: office hour - optional, drop-ins
noon: class ends - send progress email
4pm – deadline for extensions granted last week

Tuesday

8am - 8.30am: grace period; read daily post and prepare for day
8.30am: attendance and announcements meeting - all students

9am: daily study groups:

9.15am: MSE: chapter 2.1 - formulas
10.15am: MSW: chapter 2.1 - document design

11am - noon: office hour - optional, drop-ins

Wednesday

9am: daily study groups:
Microsoft Word (MSW) [BCA: please share the MSW meeting]

9.15am: MSE: chapter 2.2 - functions & formulas, cont'd
10am: MSW: chapter 2.2 - objects
10.30am: ITC review: quizzes 3 & 4

Please watch  “Intro to the Internet,” “Intro to Cybersecurity," and "the email video," prior to review to complete your study guide 


11am - noon: office hour - optional, drop-ins
noon: class ends - send progress email

Thursday

8am - 8.30am: grace period; read daily post and prepare for day 8.30am: attendance and announcements meeting - all students

9am: ITC quizzes using the LockDown Browser (30 min each)

9am: daily study groups:
Microsoft Word (MSW) [BCA: please share the MSW meeting]

9.15am: MSE: chapter 2.3 - functions & formulas, cont'd
10am: ITC review: final exam
10.30am: MSW: student-choice demo

10.30am: ITC early-bird exam using the LockDown Browser (1.5 hr) for students unavailable Friday

11am - noon: office hour - optional, drop-ins
noon: class ends - send progress email
deadline to request an extension for coursework due Friday

Friday

8am - 8.30am: grace period; read daily post and prepare for day
8.30am: attendance and announcements meeting - all students

9am: ITC exam using the LockDown Browser (1.5 hr)

9am: daily study groups:
Microsoft Word (MSW) [BCA: please share the MSW meeting]

10am - noon: office hour - optional, drop-ins
noon: class ends - send progress email

4pm - deadline for coursework - ITC, KBD only
