new episode of the college's mental health podcast

From the Community Relations team:

"The second episode of CDI College’s Pick Me Up podcast is now live, and it’s good! Jennifer Lee-Gunson is joined by the enigmatic Dr. Benjamin Morrell. He’s not your average doctor; growing up as one of 12 kids in a small town in the USA, graduating with 4 different degrees, and finally coming to practice Lifestyle Medicine. They discuss how mental health exists on a spectrum rather than in labels. They explore men’s mental health, ‘the silent crisis,’ a topic that is under-represented because society generally teaches men to be strong and silent. He tells us about his personal journey from having very rigid expectations for himself to finally having a breakdown and coming to this new understanding of how to nurture his mind, body and spirit. They discuss how students can deal with struggles that crop up in life and he offers some easy, actionable ways in which they can improve their emotional wellbeing. Wherever you are in life, you are bound to find something inspiring in this episode. So take 15 minutes for yourself and press play."
