National Occupational Classification

The Government of Canada's statistics department classifies all jobs with NOC codes. If you know the code(s), you can access really useful information about what each position entails and the requirements for education and experience.

If you like clicking links, you can start your search for your occupation's NOC code here: https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=1267777

If you want something to quickly search, simply add "NOC code" to your search term. For example, "Early Childhood Educator NOC code." The top links will take you to the NOC page for the occupation you searched.

For CES, you can use the information on these NOC pages to supplement your master ad information.
