afternoon CES overview

1. COVER LETTER due by 9am tomorrow morning

Requirements:

• answers questions posed in the cover letter guide resources

• one page preferred, two pages maximum

• 12 pt font

• business letter formatting

• letterhead with your contact information*

• no use of templates

• submit via email as an attachments following guidelines in Notes on CES doc/video

2. RESUME due before tomorrow's class begins

Requirements:

• one page preferred, but we will discuss skills for condensing tomorrow

• 12 pt font; no larger than 16 for headings

• up to date: should include your VaCC education

• experiences should be listed chronologically, with the most recent first

• use of same letterhead as cover letter preferred

• submitted via email as an attachment following guidelines

*Please remember that all documents will be uploaded to the DropBox, so only include contact information you are comfortable sharing.
