Course-specific instruction:

CES - today is the peer workshop. Make sure you email your master ad, cover letter, and resume before the 11am meeting. You need to connect with your peers today. Your job today is to read your peers' work and provide thoughtful feedback. Compare the resume and cover letter to the master ad. Is there anything important missing? Is it easy to read and understand? Are the experiences listed appropriate for the field? Watch the various videos on resumes and cover letters on the lab site; you can apply these tips to your edits. All the resources on your Courses page are clearly labeled. Also, this post: https://caitlinbaird1.wixsite.com/thelab/post/ces-how-to-pitch-unrelated-experience

In the DropBox, check out the document "resume example 1" which has the green text box at the bottom. The comments in the green text box are examples of pros, cons, and suggestions. Use this as a guide for the type of feedback you are to provide for your classmates. Write out your feedback in a separate document and email it to me by the end of class. You should have comments prepared for 11am. At 10am, join me on Zoom. I'll put you in a breakout room to discuss your work with each other. I will give you my feedback either during this meeting or at the beginning of tomorrow's class.

To recap: email your master ad, cover letter, and resume if you haven't yet. Read through your peers' work and write down your feedback. After the workshop, email your written feedback for your peers. See the "Notes on CES" video and document for submission guidelines.

ITC - tomorrow you will take your exam (25 questions, multiple choice) and your "bonus" quizzes (10 questions each, multiple choice) on ECampus. I will make the exam available after our morning meeting. You are to take it within class hours; the time limit is 90 minutes. You are only allowed one attempt.

Today, you will find two quizzes on ECampus. These have bonus questions covering the same material. Each quiz is worth 2.5% of your overall grade. The time limit is 30 minutes each; you may retake the quizzes to get better marks. You may take these today in order to facilitate retakes tomorrow.

To prepare, today you should finish filling out your study guide. For the first exam, you want to use the first 5 chapters linked on your Courses page and the first study guide. The second exam covers modules 6 through 9. Watch the prerecorded review video on the Lectures tab; in these videos, I go through the study guides and talk about the answers. Make notes of your questions and join me on Zoom tomorrow to discuss.

If you are in week 2, your assignments are due tomorrow by 4pm. You can upload these to ECampus or email them to me as attachments.

MSW, MSE, MSP - continue with Pearson. Remember you need to submit your filled-in grades tracker on the final day of your course by 4pm. Remember to send your requests for new tutorials etc.
